Nscale and Figure Sign Strategic Partnership to Power the Next Generation of Physical AI

  • On Thursday, AI cloud firm Nscale signed a multi-year deal to provide $3.5 billion in compute resources for humanoid robotics company Figure's AI models and robots.

  • Deployment of Initial graphics processing units is targeted to begin in the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas, according to Nscale.
  • Through the agreement, Nscale becomes a Figure shareholder and preferred compute provider; both companies plan to explore scaling Nscale's supply chain using humanoids.
