Israel Tjizake has been appointed as the new deputy statistician general of the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) from 1 May.

The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) has appointed Israel Tjizake as the new deputy statistician general, effective 1 May 2026. Tjizake replaces Ottilie Mwazi, who retired on 31 March 2026.
