The State has authorised an increase of EUR 100 million in the public guarantee for the credit for own and permanent housing for young people up to the age of 35, through new amounts allocated to Novobanco and Banco Montepio. According to Despacho no. 10855/2026, published this Wednesday in Diario da República, Novobanco will benefit from an increase of EUR 40 million, while Montepio will have another EUR 60 million in portfolio guarantee.
