On 2 February 2026, the French and Norwegian Ministers of Health met and signed a declaration indicating their intention to work in partnership to address major health challenges and promote common interests.
Norway and France signed a letter of intent on Monday on a new partnership for cooperation in the health field. Going forward, Norway will work more closely with France to solve several of the health challenges both countries face. Health preparedness, mental health and prevention of non-communicable diseases are some of the areas the countries will cooperate on.
