Kim Yo-jung, who is the head of the Central Committee of the Korean Labour Party, stated that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has no right to interfere with what the DPRK is doing in the nuclear field, and recalled that Pyongyang had left the Treaty on Nuclear Weapons many years ago.
North Korea stated that it was not going to renounce nuclear status; in Pyongyang, it called the IAEA resolution "a meaningless and ineffective".
