The province of North Holland is urging the caretaker government to make a swift decision on the construction of a new drainage and pumping station complex in IJmuiden. "This critical junction in Dutch water safety is not a technical detail, but a lifeline for approximately four million people and a large part of the Dutch economy. This cannot wait," says Provincial Executive Member Anouk Gielen (Water and Soil, GroenLinks).
