The Regional Health Authority (ARS) of the Azores revealed today that noroviruses have been confirmed in cases of acute gastroenteritis registered on the island of São Miguel and reported that the situation "is not cause for alarm".
Cases of acute gastroenteritis on the largest Azorian island have confirmed norovirus. Most patients have mild condition, with diarrhea and vomiting, and spontaneous recovery.
