Xander Ketrzynski scored 26 points for Canada, which rallied from an early deficit before losing the five-set final.
On Wednesday in Moncton, Canada's men's volleyball team fell 3-2 to the United States in the NORCECA men's continental volleyball championship final, earning a silver medal.
Canadian Xander Ketrzynski led all scorers with 26 points, while teammates Skyler Varga added 14 and Jackson Young chipped in 12 to support the offensive effort.
A sweep of Cuba on Tuesday propelled Canada into the final and earned the team a berth at the 2027 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup in Poland.
Competing alongside Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, Canada will enter the final NORCECA qualification stage on Friday to pursue a Los Angeles Olympic Games spot.
The United States holds an automatic Los Angeles Olympic Games berth as host nation, meaning the remaining Olympic spot will be decided this weekend among Canada and rivals.
