Noah Kim tosses 2 TDs to help Eastern Michigan beat UMass 38-14
Eastern Michigan scored three rushing touchdowns and held UMass to 14 points, improving to 2-0 in Mid-American Conference play for the first time since 2005.
On Saturday, Eastern Michigan defeated Massachusetts 38-14, with quarterback Noah Kim throwing for 219 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Eagles to victory.
The Eagles improved to 2-0 in Mid-American Conference play for the first time since 2005, spoiling the Minutemen's first sellout at McGuirk Alumni Stadium since 2014.
Kim completed 21 of 30 passes without an interception, while Eastern Michigan rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns to dominate the offensive effort.
Kozy Isaac caught a 27-yard touchdown pass and Braydon Bennett scored on a 2-yard run, with Joshua Long, Amareon Blue, and Joey Mattord adding touchdowns.
Eastern Michigan travels to face Akron next Saturday, while Massachusetts hosts Miami to continue their respective season schedules following the matchup.
