Residents and immigrant rights advocates again pressed the Riverhead Town Board Tuesday night to schedule a public discussion of OLA of Eastern Long Island’s proposed public safety and accountability law. The measure was developed by the Latino advocacy group, which says it is intended to set local procedures for town employees and police interactions with federal immigration enforcement. Source
