lrytas.ltA Lithuanian citizen who was officially declared missing in Nepal at the end of August following devastating floods remains missing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reports.
Three Hungarians went missing during the Nepalese glacier collapse and flash floods. The Foreign Ministry has explained why only one of them is on the official list.
On August 26, a glacier and the underlying mountain collapsed, sending torrents of water, rocks and mud crashing through valleys in the Nepalese Himalayas. More than 1,300 people died, and nearly 5,000 are still missing. Tens of thousands of others have been badly affected: Nepal's economy has ground to a halt, and many schools have been destroyed.

The Foreign Ministry is aware of a total of three Hungarians with dual citizenship. Two of them were not registered with their Hungarian documents, which is why only one Hungarian missing citizen is on the list of Chinese authorities.
