Russia's chief of diplomacy, Sergey Lavrov, accused Europe on Saturday of systematically opposing peace projects in Ukraine, according to him, from the position of the United States.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Europe of systematically opposing peace efforts in Ukraine in a speech to the UN General Assembly. On the sidelines of the speech, Lavrov met with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.
Russia accuses Europe of sabotaging peace in Ukraine, while Berlin denounces Russian escalation and militarism. A tense meeting between Lavrov and his German counterpart at the UN took place.

Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, while addressing the general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, said that fundamental changes are taking place in the world and a more just multipolar world system is being formed, however, Western countries are not willing to maintain their previous hegemony and privileges.
