PATTAYA, Thailand – Phea Thai Party leader Julapan Amornwiwat confirmed that Thaksin Shinawatra will not hold an official advisory role within the party following his scheduled parole on May 11. Julapan Amornwiwat stated that the party is not preparing for Thaksin's return in any official capacity. He emphasized that Phea Thai is a political institution independent of any one individual.
