- Drawing on datasets including UDISE+ 2024-25, PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024, National Achievement Survey 2017 and 2021, and ASER 2024, the analysis documented substantial infrastructure improvements—electricity, sanitation facilities, inclusive infrastructure—and expanded digital learning ecosystems across India.
- To address 11 systemic and academic challenges, the roadmap proposes 13 recommendations including State and District Task Forces on School Quality and five academic reforms leveraging Artificial Intelligence for pedagogical innovation.
- Unlike conceptual policy studies, the report outlines 33 implementation pathways with over 125 measurable performance indicators across short-, medium-, and long-term timelines. Education policy experts say the indicators could improve policy execution consistency nationwide.
- The report arrives as India accelerates implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 while addressing learning gaps and teacher deployment challenges. Experts say successful execution could significantly influence human capital development and long-term economic productivity.
