Only 8.7% of Romanians have been able to save in the last year, and one out of four has resorted to savings or made debts to cover basic expenses, while trust in the National Bank of Romania (BNR) has fallen from 4.1 to 3.8 on a scale from 1 to 7, shows a speciality study, given to the public on Tuesday.
