Nigeria is among the sub-Saharan African economies with significant potential to benefit from the wider adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), but the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that weak infrastructure, limited digital access and skills shortages could constrain the country's ability to translate the technology into broad-based economic gains.
