- Tactical teams apprehended six individuals in Maitumbi following the stabbing death of 35-year-old Nafiu Mohammed on 25 August, recovering a cutlass during their investigation.
- Along the Maitumbi-Gwada Road, three suspects were arrested with cannabis and weapons, while separate operations led to arrests for drug and motorcycle theft offences.
- Police spokesperson Abiodun urged residents to provide credible information to security agencies, noting that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty pending investigation completion.
