- Positioning for 2026, Ademola Adeleke said he is prepared to lead the Accord Party to victory, declaring he is ready for both the primary and general elections, and that 'we are winning by God's grace.'
- The chairman issued the Wednesday statement in Osogbo as Ibe Thankgod confirmed the committee's action, and the News Agency of Nigeria reported Adeleke's defection on Tuesday night.
