- On Thursday, a special National Investigation Agency court in Jammu issued a non-bailable warrant for Pakistan-based LeT commander Saifullah, linked to major attacks including the 2025 Pahalgam incident.
- Following the National Investigation Agency's busting of a "deep-rooted" LeT module, officials arrested Pakistani terrorist Abdullah, alias Abu Hureira, and accomplices after police intercepted an operative in Srinagar.
- According to the National Investigation Agency, Saifullah, a resident of Changa Manga, Pakistan, has been "operating from Pakistan and providing weapons, funds and directions to terrorists in the Kashmir Valley."
- To execute the order, the court forwarded the warrant to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kulgam, as the last known address of the accused is Yamrach village in South Kashmir.
- Recovered Telegram IDs linked to Saifullah reportedly revealed his direction of attacks on security forces; the commander has remained active for over two decades, having served in Kulgam district between 2005 and 2007.
