NHL fans have another streaming service to turn to. Disney+ will begin broadcasting the league this fall.
Disney+ is taking over parts of the NHL in Sweden. It will be allowed to broadcast 160 regular season games a year until 2030 – and also parts of the playoffs. Everything will be included in existing Disney+ subscriptions.

There’s going to be a new way for fans overseas to watch the NHL for the foreseeable future. On Wednesday, the league and Disney+ announced a five-year agreement to bring NHL games to subscribers in Sweden and Finland, starting with the 2026-27 season.
