The director of Alliance for Venezuela, Charbel Najm, this Wednesday urged the governments of Colombia, Brazil and Mexico to clearly recognize the structural causes of Venezuelan migration, forced by political persecution, institutional deterioration and systematic human rights violations, and to speed up the asylum processes that have in many cases been unresolved for years, leaving people in a situation of high legal vulnerability.
