On Monday at 3 p.m., mobile phones in Stockholm and Gotland counties will sound the alarm. This is the first test for the new warning system SE-Alert.
2.6 million mobile phones in Stockholm County and Gotland will sound the alarm on Monday. The new VMA system will be tested to warn of air raids, crises and acute danger. But the National Association of Women's and Girls' Emergency Services, Roks, sees the alarm as dangerous for women who have been subjected to violence.
Risks revealing hidden mobiles • “Huge risks”
A new warning system that will complement VMA and Hesa Fredrik will be tested on Monday, September 7th in Stockholm County and on Gotland. But the warning can also "spill over" to Uppland - so don't be scared if your mobile starts signaling at 3:00 PM on Monday.
