The impact analyses for the GETAD project, conducted by the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Presidency's Strategy and Budget Office, are expected to be completed by the end of October. Following the analyses, the scope of support to be provided to households below a certain income level will be determined on a provincial and district basis.
It has been learned that impact analyses are being conducted at the provincial and district levels for GETAD, a program known in the public as the "citizenship salary" and aimed at supporting low-income families, and that different support will be provided for each region.
While the amount of aid under GETAD is not yet clear, the main objective of the system is to protect households with incomes below the established limit, it was stated. The application, described by the Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktas as a “new generation social support model”, is planned to be rolled out to the whole country by 2027.
