As of February 1st, Poland's toll road network has been significantly expanded. Electronic toll collection has been implemented on an additional 645 km of routes, and toll rates for trucks and buses have increased by up to 42%, which is expected to translate into higher revenues for the National Road Fund.
The network of national roads covered by electronic toll collection has expanded by approximately 645 km since February 1st. Tolls are now collected on nearly 5,900 km of national roads. Tolls for vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons and buses have increased by 40-42 percent.
