Romania was elected a member of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for a two-year term of office, between 2025 and 2027, at the elections of 19 September 2025, the last day of the IAEA General Conference, informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Friday.
At its current 69th session, held in Vienna, Saudi Arabia, the IAEA General Conference was elected to become a member of the IAEA Board of Governors among its member States at its next session until 2027.
