Find in the clay pit: Three marine dinosaur fossils from the vicinity of Bamberg have turned out to be a new Ichthyosaur species. The three to four-metre-long specimens therefore belong to the rare genus Eurhinosaurus. Typically for these Ichthyosaur species is a narrow snout with a drastic overbite.
