New financing formula for vocational colleges to take effect in 2027 – Koretsky
Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky has announced that a new financing formula for professional colleges will be launched starting in 2027, ensuring that each institution receives baseline funding while a portion of its budget will depend on performance results.
From 2027, vocational colleges in Ukraine will adopt a new funding model, with more funding being provided to institutions that show better results and meet the needs of the labour market.
🎓✨ A new standard of vocational education is emerging in Ukraine, which is now focused on the real needs of the labor market! Students will be able to obtain up to three professional qualifications and gain practical experience directly from employers. This is a step towards the future we are building together! 🇺🇦
It is planned to devote at least 40% of the time to practical classes so that students acquire the necessary skills.
In Ukraine, the rules of work of professional colleges are changing. Therefore, students will have more practice in their studies, and institutions will have more autonomy and finances
