In many deep areas of Austria there is already a very long period of green Christmas. In 2010 - 15 years ago - there was snow in most of the state capitals on 24 December, namely in Bregenz, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna, Graz and Klagenfurt. This is shown by an evaluation of the Geosphere Austria of Thursday. Due to the global warming, snow has become increasingly rare for Christmas in the deep areas of Austria, especially since the 1960s.
