On September 16, Law No. 180 of the Civil Registry came into force. With its approval on July 18, as part of the process of updating regulations in Cuba, and its subsequent publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic on March 16, marks a new chapter in the registration management of persons in the nation. The legislation replaces the standard in force since 1985 and establishes a single and centralized digital register, with electronic personal folio and digital signature, which will allow registration in any office in the country.
