Nepal flash floods have raised flood concerns in Uttar Pradesh as the government ordered an alert in Maharajganj, Kushinagar and Deoria. NDRF and SSB teams have been deployed for emergency response.
Following reports of massive devastation caused by flash floods in Nepal, the Gorakhpur administration has been put on alert. The large amount of water accumulated in Nepal is expected to impact the flow of the Gandak River.
