You don't necessarily have to store your vegetables in the cellar. Gardener Ivan Haška from Pstruží in the Frýdek-Místek region shows a simple trick that some growers have been using for generations. They simply leave the root vegetables in the bed, cover them with a layer of soil and harvest them gradually even after winter. It is a surprisingly reliable and ecological method.
