MEP Siegfried Mureșan represented the EP as chief negotiator at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the European Union in Dublin, Ireland, where he advocated an increase in Romania's budget for the period 2028–2034 by 10%, from EUR 60 billion to EUR 66 billion.
