Nearly 300 people were stranded at Punta Cana Airport in the Dominican Republic on Saturday (January 31st) due to a malfunction of a LOT Polish Airlines charter plane. "First, two hours in a plane without air conditioning, then the departure lounge. Everything was closed, there was no food, and they were running out of water," travelers reported. On Sunday (February 1st), a LOT spokesperson announced that passengers had received compensation.
