- Ogunmabo reportedly told investigators her daughter in Lagos supplied the cannabis every four days; NDLEA Chairman Mohamed Buba Marwa directed bail and counselling due to her advanced age.
- In Akwa Ibom State, operatives intercepted a wooden boat on Friday, August 21, recovering 42.622kg of narcotics, with one suspect allegedly concealing 20 grammes of cocaine inside edible cassava fufu.
- The agency intercepted 1,090.5kg of Thai Loud at Apapa Port and 400kg at Lekki Deep Sea Port on August 21, marking the first recorded interception of illicit drugs shipped from Thailand through maritime corridors.
- On Saturday, August 22, NDLEA operatives intercepted 24,410 tramadol capsules in the Federal Capital Territory, leading to the arrest of 28-year-old Sunday Eze in Niger State as the agency continues War Against Drug Abuse campaigns nationwide.
