- Puligilla arrives with momentum after winning the ARC3 class at last month's Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally, building on his reigning 2025 Indian National Rally Champion title and India's first WRC podium in November 2025.
- Representing Duran Racing, the pair drives a Ford Fiesta Rally3 prepared by MRU Motorsport across 22 red-gravel special stages covering 357.64 km.
- "What makes Paraguay unique is the combination of high-speed stages, changing grip and very tight margins," Puligilla said after Tuesday's recce, noting soft gravel requires precise braking and lines.
- This event launches a demanding back-to-back WRC programme for the team, with the duo competing in the next round in Chile two weeks later.

Popular racing driver Naveen Puligilla from Telangana is all set to compete in the WRC-3 category of the 11th round of the World Rally Championship, the ‘Rally del Paraguay’. He will be competing in the race, which will be held from Thursday to the 30th of this month, in a Ford Fiesta Rally-3 car for Duron Racing, along with his fellow driver Musa Sharif.
