NATO has prepared 4,000 pages of plans for the eastern flank in the event of an escalation, NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said at a press conference in Copenhagen on Saturday after a meeting of the NATO Military Committee.

The European NATO countries can fill the gaps left by potentially departing American troops, assures NATO's top military official.
