NATO has prepared 4,000 pages of plans for the eastern flank in the event of an escalation, NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said at a press conference in Copenhagen on Saturday after a meeting of the NATO Military Committee.
The European NATO countries can fill the gaps left by potentially departing American troops, assures NATO's top military official. "A mature alliance simply has to be able to fill the gaps," says Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chairman of the Committee of NATO Top Military Officials. "And that is what we are doing."
