NASA is preparing two new Starliner manned missions and will support their repairs and certification of another rocket, before the possible withdrawal of Crew Dragon by 2030.
NASA would like to order two additional manned flights from Boeing and help pay to get that company's faltering Starliner capsule to work. This is reported by the Ars Technica website based on sources. Officially, this has not been confirmed yet.
This is a huge reversal of the situation. SpaceX is seriously considering the retirement of its Crew Dragon capsule. Without another solution, NASA should therefore turn to Starliner.
