They show how far warm Atlantic water is now penetrating – up to the glaciersNarwale swim to where research vessels reach their limits: deep into the remote fjords of East Greenland, under sea ice and in waters, cold to near freezing point. The Arctic marine mammals also dive in winter, thus reaching the most remote corners of the icy waters.
