I was rummaging through an old box of photographs and stumbled across an aged Napanee Beaver dated Jan. 28, 1998 selling for .75 cents. Some parts of the paper had been more exposed over time leaving certain areas an ocher colour, similar to the stain on a heavy smokers’ fingers. I couldn’t think why I had kept a whole newspaper.
