Music Popstar will.i.am Meshes AI and 'Micromobility'

Trinity is an AI-assisted single-passenger electric autocycle priced under $30,000 with an initial 500-unit production run planned for urban commuters, said will.i.am.

  • On Thursday, will.i.am demonstrated Trinity, a single-passenger electric autocycle with an AI assistant, at Nvidia's annual developers conference in Silicon Valley.
  • The startup says Trinity aims to reimagine infotainment and make AI transport affordable with an initial production run of 500 units and deliveries aimed to begin in August of next year.
  • Equipped with 360-degree cameras and onboard sensor systems, the vehicle uses onboard agentic AI to detect cars, bikes, pedestrians, traffic lights and plan routes for urban commuters.
  • Keeping a human at the wheel, Trinity autocycle is not self-driving and centers on human driver control, while Los Angeles manufacturing and development facility will also host a robotics and agentic AI school.
  • Targeting quick urban sprints, Trinity aims for zero to 60 in under two seconds and uses an Nvidia graphics processor powering built-in AI for alerts and route planning.
