The results of the first 100 ballots in the 35 polling stations in Arles gave rise to a trend which was confirmed throughout the election night. The victory of the outgoing mayor, Patrick de Carolis (Horizons) ahead of his challenger from the first round, Nicolas Koukas leading a left-wing list.
