Dahi Handi Celebrations: Dahi Handi celebrations were held in Mumbai, Thane, and the MMR region. Female Govindas displayed their strength, competing for prizes worth lakhs, and political figures and actors joined in to cheer.
Govinda groups are showing tremendous enthusiasm during the Dahi Handi festival in Mumbai. In Dadar, female Govindas performed brilliantly, breaking a nearly 50-foot-high pot in five minutes. Prizes worth ₹8.5 million (8.5 million rupees) have been announced in Borivali East, ₹7.1 million (7.1 million rupees) in Thane, and ₹5.1 million (5.1 million rupees) in Ghatkopar.
