Imported Foods Pose More Pesticide Problems

National authorities in Europe have been urged to keep monitoring pesticide residues in imported samples with a wide analytical scope.Maximum residue level (MRL) violations and non-compliance rates in food coming from other countries were three to four times higher than in products grown in EU member states, Iceland or Norway.
