Multiple People Injured Following Shooting in Hanover, Including Two Juveniles
Police said four adults and two juveniles were shot, and all injuries were non-life-threatening as detectives investigate the cause.
Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a shooting that injured six people in Hanover early Saturday morning. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Charwood Road shortly before 5 a.m.
Upon arrival, Police found a man with a gunshot wound to his torso amid a dispersing crowd. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Throughout Saturday, Police received reports from three other area hospitals where five additional victims—two juveniles and three adults—arrived with gunshot wounds to their extremities.
All six victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics assisted the man found at the scene, while other victims self-transported to hospitals.
Officers are currently interviewing the victims as Anne Arundel County Police continue investigating the shooting. The incident remains under investigation with no additional details released.
