Multiple mattresses sold on Amazon recalled due to ‘fire risk’
The CPSC said the mattresses fail federal flammability rules, with recalls covering about 49,460 units and no injuries reported.
- On Thursday, The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced recalls of three mattress brands sold on Amazon—Kesyup, WinxMatrs, and Emerspring—warning they violate mandatory federal flammability standards and pose a risk of serious injury or death from fire.
- ZCK01 led the recalls with about 48,405 Kesyup mattresses, while about 792 WinxMatrs units and about 263 Emerspring mattresses were also recalled, reflecting different sales volumes across the three brands.
- The 12-inch and 10-inch products feature a sewn-in label bearing "Prototype ID:" and a manufacture date, helping Consumers identify the recalled items sold on Amazon at various price points between 2024 and 2026.
- To receive a refund, Consumers must write "RECALLED" in permanent marker on the mattress's top surface and label, then email photos of both to the company. Style Homeware offers a free fitted cover for compliance.
- No injuries or incidents have been reported to the CPSC, though Consumers should stop using the recalled mattresses immediately and dispose of them according to local or state procedures.
