After a brief illness, María del Carmen (Lina) Jairala Spat, widow of Sauri, passed away yesterday, Tuesday, May 5th, in Mérida at the age of 85. She was a member of a well-known Mérida family. Born on September 10, 1940, to José Jairala Moisés and María Spat Abud, she married Gregorio Sauri Alcocer on October 26, 1961. She was widowed on August 25, 2008.
