Mount Clemens to mull a local ordinance regulating kratom sales

Mount Clemens city officials on Monday evening will begin considering regulating the sale of kratom, a botanical substance often referred to as “gas station heroin,” and restricting its sale to adults over 21 over concerns about its addictive nature.
