Poplarville has announced a ban on footboard-mounted motorized scooters following a unanimous decision by the Board of Aldermen on Friday, Jan. 9. POPLARVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Poplarville is cracking down on the use of motorized scooters on some city streets. The board of alderman adopted an ordinance banning the use of these scooters on public roads and sidewalks in areas of the city zoned for commercial use.
