Moscow repels ‘largest enemy drone attack’ involving over 1,600 UAVs amid Russian parliamentary elections - The Tribune
Amid ongoing Russian parliamentary elections, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Sunday that Russia had repelled what he described as the “largest enemy drone attack” on Moscow, claiming the attack was aimed at disrupting the ongoing parliamentary elections.
On the final day of Russia's parliamentary elections, reports emerged of a major drone attack in Moscow and surrounding areas. According to Russian officials, more than 1,600 drones were intercepted, including 450 heading toward Moscow. Drones also struck an oil refinery complex and caused damage. Two people were reported killed in the Moscow region. Ukraine has not officially commented on the attack.
