‘Mormon Wives’ star Taylor Frankie Paul and ex-partner push for protective orders against each other

On Thursday, reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen presented dueling petitions for protective orders in a Utah court hearing that will determine custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever.
Eleven alleged fights between the exes remain under examination as both have accused each other of domestic violence, including volatile altercations witnessed by their child.
Third District Court Commissioner Russell Minas, who previously cited "concerns going both ways," ordered an attorney to represent Ever at Thursday's hearing while Paul currently lacks unsupervised visitation due to past volatile behavior.
Earlier this month, the Salt Lake County District Attorney declined to file new charges against Paul, a decision that could aid her custody case by preventing a violation of her three-year probationary period ending in August.
Hulu recently resumed filming "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" after a production pause prompted by leaked fight footage, while the court ordered both parents to maintain at least 100 feet of distance until the hearing concluded.
